A day removed from the NFL Hall of Fame induction ceremony, Chris and Mike discuss the new inductees as well as more news around the league in the NFL. Kevin Allen was on to talk about a new arena football league in Virginia called the GIFL as well as his job training NFL prospects.

Chris talks about how camp has been and what it's like playing under Marty Schottenheimer. On this episode of Sports at Night with Chris and Mike. Mike takes over while Chris is in Dallas for the Monday Night Football game between the Cowboys and Redskins. Chris does call in to give an update from "Big D" and talk a little NFL. Wild Bill hangs with Mike for much of the show to talk some football and baseball.
Former Chicago Bear and current Virginia Destroyers RB, Adrian Peterson, joins the guys to talk about playing in the UFL and NFL. Adrian talks about his time at Georgia Southern, where he won the Walter Payton Award as a sophmore! Chris asks Adrian what it was like playing against current teamate and fellow RB, Dominic Rhodes, in the Superbowl.
Clifton Smith, former Tampa Bay Buccaneer and current Virginia Destroyer return specialist, joined the guys live on the show. Clifton talked about the Destroyers 2-0 start and what it will take to win their third game. He also talks about what it meant to him to make the NFL Pro Bowl in 2008. The guys dive into all the week 4 NFL results as well as the first weekend of the MLB playoffs.

For the first time ever on Sports at Night, the guys are joined by a Superbowl Champion. Former Indianapolis Colt and current Virginia Destroyer, Dominic Rhodes. Dominic talked about winning the Superbowl and what it meant to him to play such a big part of the teams success in that game as well as what it took to win. He goes on to talk about the Destroyers early season success and tells the guys he will score one for them in Friday nights game! (10/7/11).
Former Navy WR, Tyree Barnes jumps on the air to talk about his time at Navy and what it was like playing WR at a school that is known for running the ball. Tyree also tells us about his time in the Navy and what his goals are going forward. Chris and Mike go on to recap the days eventful NFL games and talk a little bit about the passing of the great Al Davis. The show ends with a huge announcement for the Oct. 30th show, which will be the 50th show for Sports at Night.
Las Vegas Locomotives FB, Robby Rome, joined the show to talk about this season and his journey to the NFL. Bobby gave great insight in the UFL and about how the NFL should adopt it as it's "minor league." Week 6 NFL picks followed the interview.
