In honor of National Prune month Sir Darryl calls a few breakfast restaurants to see if they have any special prune dishes. To his surprise they do NOT! During his search to see who will be eating prunes he speaks to Alan then Myndrunner but the topic moves to hurting animals for cash. After being disgusted by Myndrunners comments Sir. Darryl calls Peta to report him!

Considering the news conference the day before, it should come as no surprise that the guys spend most of the show talking about Simon Cowell leaving American Idol, starting The X-Factor, and what the future might hold for both shows. The guys also talk about Ellen DeGeneres joining AI as a judge this season and whether she should be a judge, which causes Alan to blow a gasket on the air.

Darryl describes in way too much detail what Milk is for. During the second hour Alan and Darryl discuss the "Negro Accent" and Harry Reid. The guys also played Brent's song, "Beautiful Attraction" and talked to him about what is coming up for him.

Alan and Darryl also spend a substantial amount of time talking about La Toya Jackson tonight, for reasons that never become clear (and, most likely, shouldn't be made clear).

Thank God, the auditions are over and we can finally get down to the good Hollywood drama. But first, VFTW radio discussed how season 9 of Idol is shaping up. VFTW Radio 2/10/10 with Special Guest Jackie Tohn

Hollywood week is finally here, and VFTW Radio will dissect the drama and tears on this week's radio show. Also joining us for the second half hour is American Idol 8 semifinalist and all around awesome person Jackie Tohn. Dave, Deb, Slack, and Sean are the voice of truth and they're a sure bet for entertainment, unlike American Idol episodes.

As the radio show starts, Alan lets his frustration with Sir Darryl bubble over and decides to walk out on Sir Darryl's group. Darryl quickly tries to make the show all about him, forcing Alan to come back on despite fears that they will fall flat on their face tonight since Darryl didn't seriously practice for the show. The guys then segway into all the people who fell flat on their faces during Group Round by trying to sing Gwen Stefani's The Sweet Escape with only four hours of practice. ChuckRitt joins the guys for the second half of the show and immediately begins spouting nonsense (he thinks that Darryl can actually sing? Is he crazy?). After a short detour into Darryl's ego, the conversation turns to Michael Lynche being in Hollywood while his wife gave birth to their daughter.

The Fantasy Book tour brings us to the Lord of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien and the Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan & Brandon Sanderson. Talya kidnaps the listeners to Middle Earth in an attempt to win them over to the side of the Valar. Or is she really a double agent for Morgoth? Mystica tries to even the score by dragging you all with her to the lands of the Aes Sedai and their Warders, where an inevitable confrontation with the Dragon Reborn is at hand. Whether that is a good thing remains to be seen.

Alan starts the show by breaking the MyndJack Radio guys, along with Deb and Sir Darryl, into three rooms. Which of the rooms will make it through? While the guys stew in anxiety, the show moves on as everyone talks about the whole three-room split and just how nervous the contestants have to be waiting to hear if their room has made it through or not. The conversation turns to the Top 24, both the seven we've already seen make it through and the other 17 who are rumored to make it through. After a short conversation about the songs used during Day 4 of Hollywood Week, Alan reveals the results of the three rooms and which rooms will be continuing on Idol Radio Show and which rooms will be going home.

Darryl celebrates Black History Month by remembering the blacks greats like Fred Sanford and Grady. He then calls his mom to ask her if there was a such thing as TV when she was a child. Alan's all-time favorite American Idol contestant is back on the show, prompting him to give a gushing introduction of Jon Peter Lewis. Sadly, JPL didn't hear a word of it. Alan and Sir Darryl talk to JPL about his beginnings in singing, the cashing in of his college loans to go to Honolulu to try out for AI, who he thought would win Season 3, and all the waiting around that takes place during Hollywood week. "Crazy Love," one of the songs recorded for Jon's upcoming EP, is played. The conversation turns to Jon's American Nobody show. "A Little Hope," another song from Jon's upcoming EP, is played. Alan asks Jon about his Facebook status update from last month where he stated he wanted to change his name. The show ends with one final song from the upcoming EP, "Song For Christopher Columbus."
