Hollywood week is finally here, and VFTW Radio will dissect the drama and tears on this week's radio show. Also joining us for the second half hour is American Idol 8 semifinalist and all around awesome person Jackie Tohn. Dave, Deb, Slack, and Sean are the voice of truth and they're a sure bet for entertainment, unlike American Idol episodes.
As the radio show starts, Alan lets his frustration with Sir Darryl bubble over and decides to walk out on Sir Darryl's group. Darryl quickly tries to make the show all about him, forcing Alan to come back on despite fears that they will fall flat on their face tonight since Darryl didn't seriously practice for the show. The guys then segway into all the people who fell flat on their faces during Group Round by trying to sing Gwen Stefani's The Sweet Escape with only four hours of practice. ChuckRitt joins the guys for the second half of the show and immediately begins spouting nonsense (he thinks that Darryl can actually sing? Is he crazy?). After a short detour into Darryl's ego, the conversation turns to Michael Lynche being in Hollywood while his wife gave birth to their daughter.
The Fantasy Book tour brings us to the Lord of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien and the Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan & Brandon Sanderson. Talya kidnaps the listeners to Middle Earth in an attempt to win them over to the side of the Valar. Or is she really a double agent for Morgoth? Alan starts the show by breaking the MyndJack Radio guys, along with Deb and Sir Darryl, into three rooms. Which of the rooms will make it through? While the guys stew in anxiety, the show moves on as everyone talks about the whole three-room split and just how nervous the contestants have to be waiting to hear if their room has made it through or not. The conversation turns to the Top 24, both the seven we've already seen make it through and the other 17 who are rumored to make it through. After a short conversation about the songs used during Day 4 of Hollywood Week, Alan reveals the results of the three rooms and which rooms will be continuing on Idol Radio Show and which rooms will be going home.
