Darryl then reveals that one of their affiliates has been shut down by the FCC and Alan forces Darryl to apologize for saying something untrue the night before.

The two then talk heavily about whether the Judges' Save is still in play since Ryan Seacrest did not mention tonight that this was the last week to use it. Another sign that the apocalypse is upon us was given to us in the form of a civil conversation between Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey after the Top 5 Performance show Wednesday night. Lazaro Arbos levels manipulation charges against American Idol, Clay Aiken doesn't look like he's aged 10 years, and Fantasia is still, well, Fantasia.
