"The Idol Radio Show" - Wednesday, February 18

It's results night for Group 1, and The Idol Radio Show has some things to say about it.

The show starts with Alan playing a tribute song to Tatiana Del Toro in the hopes that he will never have to see or hear her on the show again. He then introduces his co-host, Charlie Spillers, only to find out that Darryl has usurped the usurper. Darryl has a few choice words about Charlie and mentions a sex tape, but we won't go into that here.

After attempting to call Charlie with no luck, Darryl and Alan finally move on to the topic at hand: the Group 1 Results. Darryl is less than pleased that Anoop Desai did not make the Top 12, thinking that American Idol has once again deliberately done the opposite of what he wanted to have happen. But what do you expect from someone who thinks that Amanda Overmeyer is the best thing to happen to AI since sliced bread? Did we mention that there's yet another long, drawn-out discussion on the marble-stuffing former contestant?

Charlie joins Darryl and Alan on the air, and the three discuss the group number, Michael Johns and Carly Smithson's duet, and how Tatiana was the only person in the world who thought she, and not Danny Gokey, was going to go through to the Top 12.
