Los Angeles may have been one of the worst audition cities so far this year, but the antics of Microphone Girl and James Brown Not-So-Look-A-Like gave Alan, aka the Token White Guy, and Sir Darryl plenty to talk about. After Alan apologizes to all the listeners, Antubert, the host of The Live Test Show called in to talk about the how much he's enjoying American Idol so far, and Lush called in to talk about the show as well.
Alan, aka the Token White Guy, doesn't like the intro used on the Idol Radio Show tonight, and Sir Darryl doesn't like how American Idol and auditioner Chris Medina exploited his wheelchair bound fiancee. That pretty much sums up the tone of the show, don't you think?
The first week of auditions are done on American Idol, and Alan, aka the Token White Guy, and Sir Darryl talk about them. Alan gives future auditioners some advice on when it might be a good idea to stay home while Darryl shares just how disturbing it is for him to look at Steven Tyler. And Alan crushes the dreams of the contestants by calling them out on how they act for making it through to the Hollywood Round.
Alan, aka the Token White Guy, is joined by IdolBlogLive.com owner DJSlim for a preview show of what to expect from Season 10 of American Idol. The guys talk about the return of Nigel Lythgoe and all the changes he has made to the show in an effort to make the show watchable again.
